Halloween is here again. In most countries, Halloween is the perfect time for trick-or- treating ,dressing up for costume parties or to even prank someone. Back at home its a day like any other. Most Kenyans just go on with their lives as usual. There are a few parties here and there but very few people put an effort into the make-up and the costumes. This year however, there has been a rise in the number of halloween parties and most of them have already been held but there are still a few more left like the one at the Tribe Hotel on Friday 31st at the tribe . These are the most interesting celebrities I would definitely like to see people try and look like. Are you ready for the challenge?
It rained heavily in Nairobi last Saturday. The same old bad habits were exhibited by women .i.e paper bags on their heads and other bad habits I had talked about in a previous article. I know sometimes we forget our umbrellas and jackets at home and we are forced to come up with interesting ways of shielding ourselves from the rain, but what I saw on Saturday, was beyond innovation.
Wow! I hold my breathe every time I look this South African Model. She is drop dead gorgeous and she makes me want to spend the whole day at the gym. She is a mother of two and she looks like that? Hmm!She has been features in spreads from South Africa to Milan.
My sister is plus size and I know how hard it is for her to get stylish and trendy clothes in Nairobi because most retailers stock clothes for women of size 12 and below. If she is lucky, the ones that fit her are for older women and the styles are not impressive at all. As she was growing up she had a hard time loving her body and that lowered her self esteem.Over the years we tried talking to her and motivating her but its never worked. Now that she is 20 years old and in university, I decided to give it another try. I put together a few pictures of amazing outfits that I think would make her look hot, fashionable and make her stand out from the crowd.
There has been a rapid growth in the fashion industry in Kenya. Many people consider fashion design photography, modelling and styling as careers unlike before. Kenyans now appreciate and buy local designs and with time,I hope retailers will stock more of local designs in their stores.

This is a collection that all men should own.
The cold season is back. It rained all night last night and as much as we would like to see the cold go away, it’s here for a few months. For the women who love to wear really short skirts and low cut tops and the men who cannot stay away from t-shirts and shorts, it is time to layer up. We all love to look fab but let it not come at a cost. My friends and I have come up with a list of things we would like gone this cold season.
