The Kenyan Design Number From Cobe-INC

Hi readers! Have you noticed that there are so many people with birthdays this month? I think its the perfect time to have a birthday because everyone is in a spending mood because the holidays are finally here. I am dedicating this post to all readers, friends, family and acquaintances who are November babies. I also want to congratulate all students graduating from colleges and universities, students who have finished form 4, class 8 and my baby brother’s group who just completed pre-unit and are now going to class 1.

As you are thinking about those gifts you need to get all these people celebrating milestones, let me introduce you to COBE-INC.

reina kimeu kenyan fashion bloggerCOBE INC is a Kenyan fashion brand that was founded in 2011 and its main aim is to create youthful luxury. They have comes up with timeless designer items like: sweat jerseys, shirts, dresses, accessories, shorts, pants and skirts. Cobe-Inc always has a way of making effortless, look good. Their looks are very sporty and cross over from playful to seriously chic all at the same time.

They have also been featured on magazine spreads of Couture Magazine and True Love Magazine among others. They have currently been nominated as the East African Fashion Designer of year at the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards in Uganda.

cartoon caThis is the first time I am wearing a COBE-INC outfit and I have to say, the fabrics are very comfortable on the skin.Β  I felt so playful and amazingly youthful. This look is from their new collection that was debuted at the Nairobi Fashion Market last month.

car collagrThis is a two piece outfit. I am wearing a white, button down, long sleeved, dress shirt. The shirt is simple and the fabric used is light enough to allow you to layer it with a jacket or sweat shirt. I totally love the length. The sweat shirt I am wearing on top of the dress shirt, is made of jersey material. It has amazing tribal print patterns that are vertical making me look taller than I actually am. Don’t we all love hacks? reina 8I added a yellow broad belt with gold chain detailing to create a waist line since the sweat shirt is a little loose. To add on to the ‘bling’, I threw on a gold chain, a blue and silver chunky ring and sunglasses.

car 8The shoes I chose are my favorite animal print orange platform heels. I love mixing prints and colors so this is definitely the pair of shoes I chose for this look.

This shoot was one of the longest shoots I have ever had. I worked with a new photographer, and the chemistry was instant. He brought out a side of me I never thought I had and I loved it!Β  The make up artist, Ndanu from Urembo Creations also did a fantastic job. I was going for a very playful look and it was achieved.
