Hi guys how are you? I have super busy with projects. Of this, my Machakos Beauty workshop was very enlightening. I am back now with so many stories and experiences to share with you .The fashion show season is back! Yeeeiiiii! Yes I know we (people in the fashion industry) will flood our timelines with images of gorgeous outfits by local designers, beautiful models and poses that clearly defy gravity. I am looking forward to see the newly discovered designers, the trends this year, the IT models and the people I only meet at fashion events (you know who you are). The Brads Fashion show and the Fashion Tapped Africa are happening this weekend. So ladies and gentlemen, there are no excuses for you to be at home, even the rain should not stop you.
The 2nd East African Fashion Week happened last weekend and it was a good way to kick off the season. It featured designers from around the East African region (as the name suggests). I was saw many new designers and I admired their extraordinary eye for detail and the ingenuity most of them expressed. There were 20 designers showcasing, hair was provided by Micore Kenya and the location the event was held was the village Market, Nairobi. The show took longer than expected and there was a power outage issue but eventually everything was back to normal. It was worth the wait.
